Most of us in the business have a suit...or 3...or 6...whatever. Most of us have one that doesn't fit anymore or hides in the back of the closet. Put it to good use - on someone else!
Mens Wearhouse is sponsoring their first National Suit Drive to benefit "at-risk" men and youth. Sometimes having something to professional to wear when interviewing for a job can make the difference. Feeling good about what one wears can make a huge difference in confidence. The company will clean them and add a new shirt to compliment it.

is there one for women ? great idea...:-)
There is a program in Washington for women searching for jobs and my wife is a huge contributor. I will check in with the Men's Warehouse and make a difference...
It makes a difference. I remember a specific instance at our family business where "the suit" got the job. We had several applicants for a entry level position cleaning manufactured parts. Most applicants were in blue jeans and some in shorts, but the guy in the suit, who had been homeless at several points in his life, got the job. He worked very hard for us while he was with us. Nice post.
This is an outstanding idea. I'd love to hear the back-stories... like the one Patrick just shared.
Liz - I don't know! Maybe you can find out for us?
Paul - thanks for stopping by...and making a difference (both you & your wife)!
Patrick - thanks for the example! You always have something good to contribute when you comment.
Chuck - I'm looking forward to hearing more also.
